Based on a review of domestic and international publications, this article compares the diagnostic capabilities of Diaskintest and IGRA tests for the detection of tuberculosis infection. It is demonstrated that Diaskintest® and IGRA tests are based on the detection of a cellular immune response to ESAT-6/CFP-10 antigens, ensuring their high specificity. The sensitivity of IGRA is 0.81–0.90, and the specificity is 0.95–0.99. Diaskintest® demonstrates comparable diagnostic efficacy with high specificity in BCG-vaccinated populations. The methods share a common antigen base but differ in the mechanism of immune response detection and are complementary.
